We’ve got the go-to attractions all set up, like the Potter Park Zoo, The Michigan State Capitol and The Capital Region International Airport! We also have some new and returning attractions this year!
New Attractions
Want to get out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Lansing? Head south to experience downtown Dimondale and this small craft brewery offering $1.00 samples of their beer, wine and cider.
Goat Yoga MI
Made famous by celebrities all over the world, Goat Yoga is now in MI and it’s your turn to participate. The Original Goat Yoga is at Hilltop View Farms in Williamston. You’ll get to meet the goats and share in a “Goat Happy Hour”. You will also learn more about signing up for a Goat Yoga MI class!
The Lansing State Journal/Knapps Building
Take your family on a tour of the LSJ newsroom located in the historic Knapp’s Center. You’ll be able to make your own headline and learn about why #journalismmatters, plus meet the team members that bring you the LSJ news!
Already downtown? Take a walk over to MichiGrain Distillery where you can tour the newest high-volume craft distillery and taste some of their spirits.
Scoop’s Ice Cream of Old Town
We all love ice cream, especially in the hot heat of summer. Take the family, or your friends over to Scoop’s in Old Town. This historic 1923 Sinclair Filling Station, serves up MSU Dairy Store and premium soft serve ice cream. Don’t forget to pick up your FREE kid’s scoop!

Come see the newest brewpub in Mason, on Okemos Rd. across from the Jackson National Life building. Enjoy great beer, good food and guest taps for other craft brews!

If you have an obsession with space, or would like to learn more about what is up in the sky, visit Abrams Planetarium for a 10 minute star talk. Open from 12:30-5 PM, the star talks will run every 20 minutes.
Ride on the Grand River in The Michigan Princess. The boat will leave every hour on the hour from 1-4 PM.

Take the family, kids and grandparents to visit your local PBS/NPR station! Tour the WKAR TV Studios, where your local favorite Curious Crew and Off the Record are filmed.
