Upcoming Career Expo

The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University is excited to invite you to join us for our annual CAREER EXPO-In Person on Monday, October 17, at the Breslin Student Events Center. Interviews will be held the next day on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at the Spartan Football Stadium – Fourth Floor, Huntington Club.

CAREER EXPO participation is extended by invitation and processed online through Handshake. It includes registration for two recruiters, Welcome Reception, one booth space, parking, access to our online student resumes. We also offer a Double Booth with 4 recruiters and two tables. Registration also includes the opportunity to interview students the following day, ONE interview booth, two recruiters and continental breakfast. The cost is $600 for Standard booth and $800 for a Double Booth. Additional recruiter registration is $75 per person.

Monday, October 17, 2022 - CAREER EXPO In Person

Registration and Check-In begins at 1:30 p.m. Please enter through the SW Harrison Gate. Please have your booth set up by 4 p.m. Parking is complimentary in the Breslin Center Parking LOT 63W. Enter the code EXPO1 in the Pay by Plate parking lot.

Recruiter Welcome Reception and dinner begins at 4:00 p.m. Please gather at 3:45 p.m. You will have an opportunity to meet the School of Hospitality Business faculty and dynamic CAREER EXPO Student team followed by a complimentary dinner prior to the fair.

CAREER EXPO Open House is 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the Breslin Center Concourse. Blank interview schedules will be provided so you can schedule students for interviews when they visit your booth.

MSU Logistics will provide instructions for delivery for your booth signage and material to our Breslin venue only. They will not transfer items to the stadium. Do not deliver before October 10, 2022. View the instructions for shipping

Tuesday, October 18, 2022 - Interviews

Interviews will occur from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Interviews will be 30 or 60 minutes to facilitate multiple interview rotations.

Parking for the Stadium is lot #79 located on 325 West Shaw Lane. On the Pay by Plate Kiosk, enter your license plate and select CAREER EXPO, Enter 1 - Yes I have a code, and enter parking code EXPO1 for a discounted rate of $10 for the day.

During the interview day, a complimentary continental breakfast will be offered beginning at 7:30 a.m. A Grab-N-Go Lunch will also be available to order or you may dine on your own. Within walking distance are numerous on-campus food and beverage venues. Also, Grand River Avenue is a short drive and has a variety of restaurant choices. 

The Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center is the preferred hotel partner.
