Lansing, Michigan Points of Pride
Lansing and its surrounding communities are rich in cultural diversity, historical significance, and encompass many points of pride that highlight this vibrant and inclusive region.
Being the capital of Michigan and home to Michigan State University, the area is unique in that there are three medical schools, two nursing schools, two law schools, a Big Ten Conference university, the state Capitol, the state Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, a federal court, the Library of Michigan and the Michigan History Museum, and is home to four national insurance companies and high=tech manufacturing institutions.
But what makes Greater Lansing so great? It’s the achievements and accomplishments of businesses and the people who make the region a proud place to live, work and play.
