In our opinion, a stop at the MSU Dairy Store is a must for some of the best ice cream in the Midwest. Located on the Michigan State University campus, this ice cream is made using fresh local ingredients and served up in flavors that celebrate MSU pride. Grab a scoop of their famous Sesquicentennial Swirl, a cake batter ice cream with ribbons of green fudge and cake pieces, for a true Spartan treat. While you’re there, take a tour of the dairy plant at Anthony Hall to learn more about the farm-to-cone magic that makes this ice cream so special.
