Sports Assistant.

Carmody is a 2008 graduate of the Michigan State University School of Communications and was most
recently employed with Suburban Ice East Lansing. While at Suburban Ice she was a figure skating

Carmody previously served as the sports events intern for the GLSA since the spring of 2009. Hawkins is

Varsity Basketball coach at Lansing Eastern High School, a post he has held for four years.

"The GLSA is a very important part of the future of the Greater Lansing Convention and Visitors Bureau
(GLCVB)," said Lee Hladki, President and CEO of the GLCVB. "Sports events are critical to the growth
of convention business for the community and managing those events that meet here is vital. We feel
Meghan and T.J. will fill that role and continue to help move the organization forward."
