LANSING, Mich. -The Greater Lansing Convention and Visitors Bureau (GLCVB), is pleased to announce GLCVB president and CEO, Lee Hladki was honored with the CVB Star of the Year Award by the Michigan Lodging and Tourism Association. The awards were presented at the "Stars of the Industry" dinner at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids held during the 2012 Pure Michigan Governor's Conference on Tourism.

Amidst family, friends and many industry peers, Hladki was honored for his dedication to the Greater Lansing CVB and his memorable leadership over his eight years with the organization. Notable initiatives under Hladki's leadership include: founding the Greater Lansing Certified Tourism Ambassador program, establishing the Team Lansing Foundation and Greater Lansing Sports Authority, as well as securing new revenue sources for the GLCVB.
