President's Message

Our team has been meeting and laying out our strategies to take us into 2027 while tracking the economic uncertainties, state budget impasse and governmental challenges taking place right now. We have a lot of great events taking place in 2026 for our community that can help move us forward as we navigate a changing landscape. Please let us know how you and your business are approaching 2026 as we move forward together.
Our team has been on campus spreading our community message to parents and students. We’ve participated in Green and White Days, New Student Orientation, Transfer Student Resource Fair, International Student Orientation and New Faculty Orientation. We’re also looking forward to our continued partnership with MSU Athletics and getting the messaging out to visitors attending upcoming athletic events. With three home football games to start the season, we should all be in the Spartan spirit. We’re anticipating a big weekend over September 12-13 as MSU Family weekend takes place on campus. Go Green! Go White!
Please reach out to me at jpingston@lansing.org if I can assist you in any way. Thank you!

The unveiling was held on August 22, 2025, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, artist meet-and-greet, and a guided walking tour of the mural.
The mural's abstract shapes and colors have already drawn comparisons to rivers, schools of fish, and the merging of Stage One's and Peppermint Creek Theatre Company's brand colors.

As the weeks pass, the weather turns cool and for Michigan State University football fans, it’s tailgating season!
Listen carefully and you’ll hear the rallying cry of “Go Green!” followed by the answer of “Go White!” Some may argue that THIS, this season right here, is the most wonderful time of the year.
