Choose LansingTM hosted its first Tourism Accessibility Summit on October 26, 2023 at the new AC Hotel by Marriott in Lansing. Attendees heard from national and local experts on how to implement best practices to be welcoming to all guests. The keynote speaker was Kristy Durso, national accessibility advocate and owner of Incredible Memories Travel. Other speakers included Cathy Blatnik, treasure for the Mid-Michigan Autism Association, and Meegan Winters, founder of AbleVu.
Thank you to all who attended this event.
Experience an electric light parade, the lighting of Michigan's official Christmas tree, a community sing-along, a drone light show, and fireworks. Visit the Silver Bells Village with Michigan vendors selling all kinds of tasty treats and merchandise. Choose Lansing is a proud sponsor of the community sing.
