The Lansing River Trail winds from Old Town Lansing through the heart of downtown and out onto the campus of Michigan State University. With over 17 miles of paved and board walk type surfaces it's perfect for waking, running and biking. The River Trail also passes through the brand new Rotary Park. Play corn hole or dip your toes in the sandy urban beach along the Grand River. Rent a kayak or canoe from River Town Adventures, for a paddle around. All ages are welcome. Just steps from the State Capitol, it's the perfect spot for a picnic before exploring 5 other attractions within a 5 block radius.
