The Visitor Center at Fenner offers exhibits that accommodate a variety of learning levels , each with varying stimulation so all visitors can engage with the exhibits at their own level of comfort. The Center also recently installed sensory safe LED lighting and keeps its tablets/audio visual features at sensory safe volume levels.

  • Directions: FROM NORTH: 127 South to Trowbridge Rd./MSU exit. Take exit (will be on Trowbridge Rd.). Go to Harrison Rd. (Trowbridge Rd. will deadend into Harrison Rd.). Turn right (south) on Harrison Rd. Go approximately 1/2 mile to Mt. Hope Rd. Turn right (west) on Mt. Hope. Go approximately 1 1/2 miles. Center is on the lefthand side (south) at the intersection of Mt. Hope Rd. and Aurelius Rd. FROM EAST: 96 West to 127 North (Exit 106B). Take 127 North to Jolly Rd. (Exit 11).   • Description Our new building, the Davis Nature Pavilion has a patio that can seat 50. Tables, chairs and set up are included in the rental price. Guests would have access to the building's private restrooms so long as they adhere to the capacity limits and safety precautions required at the time of their event. For outdoor options, we have the Maple Grove Pavilion, a small open air pavilion with 6 picnic tables. This is located a short walk from our main parking lot along a paved path. Guests would have access to the Visitor Center's restrooms during open hours. Tables and chairs, other than the picnic tables, are not included and would need to be brought in by the renter. This site does not have electricity. This site can comfortably fit 36 at the picnic tables, or if chairs are brought in, comfortably 50. We also have the Group Campground, an ~1 acre field with a small covered patio, firepit and private outhouse. This field is accessible from a private parking lot that holds approximately 30 cars. Tables, chairs and tents are not included and would need to be brought in by the renter. Tents and canopies larger than 10x10 require a permit with the City of Lansing. This site does not have electricity. This site can comfortably fit 150. We also have our Festival Field, a large open field to the east of the park entrance and north of our main parking lot. Guests would have access to the Visitor Center's restrooms during open hours. Tables, chairs and tents are not included and would need to be brought in by the renter. Tents and canopies larger than 10x10 require a permit with the City of Lansing. This site does not have electricity. This site can comfortably fit 300+.
