LANSING, MICH. Aug. 11, 2025 – Choose Lansing® has earned its reaccreditation through the Destination Marketing Accreditation Program (DMAP) from Destinations International. DMAP accreditation recognizes destination organizations around the world that meet rigorous standards for excellence, performance, and accountability. Choose Lansing® was the first destination marketing organization in Michigan to receive the designation back in 2007.

The accreditation program requires a destination organization to successfully comply with a set of rigorous mandatory and voluntary standards that span a variety of performance areas to gain this momentous achievement. The standards cover nearly all aspects related to the management and marketing of destination organizations including governance, finance, human resources, sales, communications, destination development and research. Choose Lansing® is among over 200 destination organizations that have obtained DMAP accreditation.
