On August 9, CTA Facilitators Melissa Nay, Heather Kim & Alan Woodbury welcomed 18 new CTAs via the MSU WorkLife Office on the MSU Campus. These 18 new CTAs were from all over campus and had a wide range of responsibilities! Such a fun class to teach. Join us in welcoming them to our amazing group of #LoveLansing Advocates!

This year’s incoming freshman class is expected to be one of the largest ever. We’re looking forward to welcoming Spartan friends and family during move-in weekend (August 26-28) and during MSU’s 1st Annual Family Weekend being held September 23-25 throughout campus. For the schedule and additional information, visit Family Weekend.

For all the Spartan insights, check our MSU information for all the details.

The season begins on September 2 for the Spartans this year with 4 game times already announced. So far, the games are all afternoon or evening starts so a bit of a new dynamic this season. The pre-season 15th ranked Spartans are looking to repeat last year’s success and the fans are making plans to visit during the home game weekends.

At the time Michigan’s State Capitol opened on January 1, 1879, it housed all offices of state government. Over the years the building was dramatically remodeled and altered to meet the changing needs of the state. In 1987, after years of neglect and decline, a project was launched to restore the Capitol to its original beauty. Following the completion of the award-winning restoration in 1992, the Capitol was named a National Historic Landmark.

Choose Lansing is proud to develop the CTA program, vowing to create positive experiences for every visitor that comes to the Capital City.
