I moved to Lansing after living in a few large cities and I quickly learned just how much there really is to do in our capital city. It didn’t take long for me to realize there are so many festivals, concerts and events all year long right in my own backyard. My favorite things to do include attending concerts at the Common Ground Music Festival and festivals in Old Town as well as dining at local establishments like Soup Spoon and Lansing Brewing Company with my family. I love the small town charm and am proud to call Lansing my home now.
One of my favorite inspiring quotes is, “Life isn’t measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away”. It’s a great reminder for me to live life to the fullest.
