Statewide Astronomy Night with the MSU Science Festival is April 12! Observatories and Planetariums all throughout Michigan will be open to the public to learn about astronomy!
The Abrams Planetarium will premiere a new show related to space exploration at 7pm, followed by a planetarium based talk on how the early missions of Mercury and Gemini helped prepare the U.S. to win the space race against the Soviet Union with the Apollo Missions. Hear the history of the Apollo program and how the space race essentially ended with the Apollo-Soyuz mission of 1975.
All events are FREE!
