What’s more fun than screen printing? PRINTING WITH PUPPIES!!! Omg, if this is not going to be a blast, we are bursting with excitement to tell all of you about it. ALT is co-hosting a fundraiser event with New Hope Pet Rescue. We are supplying the ink and they are supplying the pups. We are blocking out our entire day on 5.4.19 for this event. We will be holding a morning and afternoon workshop with only 30 spots available for the day so register early for this one!
Both of these make and take workshops will run just like our regular workshops. Participants will learn how to operate a printing press and print their own t-shirt (while being distracted by puppy paws and puppy kisses). What pup related class would we be running here if our fur babies didn’t get some printing swag too? We will also be printing pet bandanas on our table top presses. Participants will rotate around our studio layering our graphics and patterns to create some awesome custom pieces. Extra bandanas will be available for purchase for anyone who would like to print some swag for a shelter pup too.
The class fee is $45 and includes the t-shirt, bandanna, and all the materials needed to make and take your printed swag. Sorry, no pups are included with your make and take fee but they are available for adoption! A portion of the proceeds for the day will be donated to the rescue to help them continue the great work that they do.
The class fee includes 2 bandanas and all materials needed to create your custom piece. This also includes a t-shirt that will be themed for New Hope Pet Rescue. The bandanas may be cut in half, they are 22”x22” 100% cotton.
Participants should wear comfortable clothing that can get dirty. Screen printing is a process intended to make permanent fixtures to fabric so the ink will stain.
We ask that you arrive a few minutes before the class begins to get settled and check out the shop.
Printmaking is a generally safe process. However, A.L.T. Printing Co. assumes no liability for accidents or injuries. Each participant will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to the workshop.
Our shop has limited space and our workshops are planned out for a certain number of participants. Due to the time and cost of purchasing and prepping materials, workshops are non-refundable. We understand that plans change. If a cancellation is needed, you must cancel 7 days prior to the scheduled workshop date to receive a credit for another workshop. We will allow you to transfer your spot to another person. If that’s the case, just give us a call and let us know ahead of time.
Workshops may be cancelled due to low registration. A.L.T. Printing Co. will notify registered participants of the cancellation at least 2 days prior to the scheduled workshop. A full refund or an offer to reschedule will both be offered in the event of cancellations.
