As we get into August and the time comes for kids to get back into school people start to feel like summer is over. Well, summer vacation from school maybe, but not certainly not the summer season! There is still plenty of warm weather ahead and plenty of time for baseball, fishing, boating, eating outdoors, time at the park, the zoo and much much more. Even with the kids in school, evenings and weekends can be fun times for family fun, or an outing for just you and your significant other. Have you found time to get to Hawk Island Park? How about a Lugnuts game? What about all the great September and October festivals in Greater Lansing? Grab your friends and hit the golf course! Go downtown and visit Stevie Wonder and Rosa Parks in the Michigan Walk of Fame. Save the movies and museums for when cold weather hits. For now, while we can, lets eat outdoors, play some catch, cast a line, bring a good book to the park - you get the idea. No matter what you do - do it outside! Need more inspiration?
