Capital Auto Show in Lansing, MILook for some very cool cars converging in Lansing this Saturday, July 27th from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The cars will be parked on Capitol Ave., Michigan Ave., Washington Ave., Ottawa St. and Allegan St. surrounding the State Capitol and spilling out from there. Find hundreds of vehicles from turn of the century antique vehicles to hotrods, muscle cars and even some motorcycles. All makes and models are welcome. With 80 vehicle classes and a ton of prestigious awards, this show is promising to be an awesome one and not to be missed. There will be some street closures, but parking structures and metered parking throughout Lansing are generally free on the weekends. So come on out and take a look. Wander around the cars and then get a bite to eat at one of the downtown eateries. It will be a ton of fun. Proceeds from the registration will go to the R.E. Olds Transportation Museum located at the bottom of Museum Dr. right off of Michigan Ave. Show hours are Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm. Spectator admission is free.
