LANSING, Mich.-- The Greater Lansing Convention and Visitors Bureau (GLCVB) is pleased to announce it has hired Tammi Connell, CMP, CTA, as Sales Manager for the organization.

Connell joins the GLCVB after 17 years with the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center in East Lansing. While at the Kellogg Center, Connell served in the role of Conference Services Manager and was responsible for meetings business for the Corporate and Government markets. Her role with the GLCVB will be to leverage her relationships and experience at Michigan State University to help draw meetings and events to the Greater Lansing area in the National and Regional Association, Education and Corporate Markets.

"I'm very excited to be adding Tammi to our association sales team," said Jack Schripsema, President and CEO of the GLCVB. "Her wealth of experience in hospitality sales and many strong relationships in the regional meetings and events industry will be a real asset to our organization."
