LANSING, Mich. - The Greater Lansing Convention and Visitors Bureau (GLCVB) is pleased to announce it was recognized with a Diamond Award by the Michigan Society of Association Executives (MSAE) at the 11th Annual Awards Banquet recently held in Dearborn, Michigan.

The Diamond Award was presented for Best Website (www.lansing.org) for an organization with $1 million or greater annual operating budget. Nearly 60 entries competed for top honors in nine categories designated to recognize excellence and innovation in associations throughout the state.

"We at the Greater Lansing CVB are extremely proud of the success of our redeveloped website," said Lee Hladki, GLCVB President and CEO. "To receive this honor from our partners at MSAE, in front of so may of our peers within the meetings industry, is a true honor."

The Michigan Society of Association Executives has a membership of over 1,000 association professionals and suppliers involved in the management of 400 international, national, state, regional and local associations. It provides executives with the opportunity to exchange ideas, opinions and experiences through discussion, study and networking.

The mission of the Greater Lansing Convention & Visitors Bureau is to positively impact  the area's economy by marketing the region as a travel destination.
