Late summer and early fall is an awesome time to be in the Greater Lansing area. Temperatures still have a summery feel yet we're starting to get some nice scenery changes as Mother Nature paints the trees red, yellow and orange. Of course while these colors are pretty and very scenic signs of fall, the real color around here is green - as in the green and white Michigan State Spartans! When Spartan football starts up you can feel a noticable buzz throughout the whole community. Alumni, students and fans alike sport their best Sparty gear, get out the tailgate stuff and start talking about what kind of season we're going to have, and then next question - How long until the game versus Michigan? (October 3rd!) This is such a great time to be in Greater Lansing and especially the campus of Michigan State. People are out and about, music fills the air and for a college football fan it is pure heaven. This college football season do yourself a favor and come be a part of the action. Get your buddies together for a reunion weekend and make a game part of the fun. Everything is here waiting for you, right here in Spartan Country! GO STATE!
