Vantage Hospitality Group wrapped up its 11th annual International Educational Conference & Trade Show by handing out its prestigious Lexcellence awards to Lexington Collection members during the gala dinner and awards banquet at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
Nominees were selected by Member Care Managers and Sales Support & Assurance Program Directors from each region before a committee of Vantage executives chose the winners.
Overall Excellence was awarded to the Lexington Lansing Hotel. Located in the heart of Michigan's capital city and minutes from Michigan State University, the Lansing hotel opened in 1982 and features 212-guest rooms.
Since joining the Lexington brand in 2009, the Lexington Lansing Hotel has proven their high level of service and attention to guest needs. Steve Belmonte, President, CEO & Partner of Vantage Hospitality's Lexington Hotels showed praise, "This amazing and revered property embodies the best in lodging amenities and services as well as prime location. I'm proud our branding and stellar reputation won them over. We plan to highlight this property as a standard benchmark for those entering the Lexington system."
Recently, the Lexington Lansing Hotel was also voted "Favorite Hotel" in the Lansing State Journal's 2010 "People's Choice Awards." With over 14,000 square feet of flexible meeting space and unique amenities including an indoor basketball half-court and nightly cookie & milk delivery, it is easy to see why they remain a mainstay for travelers to mid Michigan.
