Easter Egg Hunt on the Capitol Lawn

Parents and their children throughout the community are invited to take part in the holiday activities on Saturday, March 30 at the Michigan State Capitol east lawn, located at 100 N. Capitol Ave., from 10 a.m. to noon, with the actual egg hunt beginning at 11 a.m. Special guest appearances will be made by the Easter Bunny, Crash the Clown, ClickIt the Cricket, and special animal friends from the Potter Park Zoo. The Lansing Fire Department will have a fire engine on scene for children to investigate. Lucas Wey Agency, Farm Bureau, of DeWitt will be at the event to provide parents with complimentary child ID kits. Attendees can purchase raffle tickets on the day of the event to win Easter baskets and other great prizes. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit future Lansing Jaycees community projects.
