Woldumar's "Budding Naturalists" program offers educational opportunity to children ages 1-PreK. Each session will feature an introductory story, crafts or other hands-on activities, and a short walk on Woldumar's trails (weather permitting). 1/8 Frosty Fun What is all that white fluffy stuff on the ground? We will explore the properties of snow and what fun we can have with it. 1/22 Wonderful Water and Friendly Fish Come see who lurks in the water by getting up close and personal with Woldumar’s own aquatic creatures. 2/5 Amazing Animal Adaptations Animals are built for the environment they live in. Learn about the animals living right outside our windows. 2/19 Cabin Fever We will tour the Moon Log Cabin and our Indian Village. Experience how pioneers and Native Americans used nature to survive. 3/5 Wild Weather Wind, clouds, rain and rainbows are what await us as we use our five senses to feel the weather. 3/19 Spring is in the Air As snow begins to melt, animals and plants will go through many changes while awaiting the arrival of spring
