Hubbard Street Dance Chicago makes its long-awaited return! One of the greatest dance companies of all time, the ensemble celebrates its 40th Anniversary Season with a night of favorites spanning all four decades of the company’s illustrious history. Founding Artistic Director Lou Conte’s homage to swing, “The ‘40s,” will be featured, as will his beloved duet, “Georgia,” set to Willie Nelson’s “Georgia on My Mind.” The evening also includes Alejandro Cerrudo’s “One Thousand Pieces,” hailed as “magical” (Time Out Chicago) and “extraordinary” (Chicago Sun-Times), plus works by Twyla Tharp, William Forsythe, Lucas Crandall, and former Hubbard Street Artistic Director, Jim Vincent.
