Mackerel Sky presents, "Stitched Landscapes: Bits and pieces", a collection of fiber art quilts for the wall utilizing numerous interesting quilting techniques, by Haslett, Michigan artist, Carol Trojanowski . Carol’s amazing use of various stitching techniques and enthusiasm for fiber result in beautiful landscapes.
Carol explains: “Creating art quilts feeds my passion for working with fabric, color
and design. My quilts may look like paintings from a distance, yet closer
examination proves them to be pieces of fused fabric embellished with free motion stitching and thread sketching or hundreds of thousands of pieces of quilted shredded fabric as found in my confetti quilts. The quilts are original designs using photographs for inspiration.
These make a great holiday gift for that special someone in your life. Pieces start at $90! Holiday hours are 7 days a week until Christmas.
