Pull up a blanket or chair and enjoy the ambience of music and garden flora during MSU’s free outdoor concert series. The W.J. Beal Botanical Garden plays host to select student groups presented by the MSU College of Music. Concerts happen rain or shine!
“Journey Through Time” This concert will fuse music and percussion instruments from four different continents through a variety of sonic expression. Among the unique instruments to be featured include the Indian tabla and Iranian zarb. Join us as we travel through time exploring cultures and rhythms old and new. A guided tour of "History of American Indian Culture" led by Dr. Peter Carrington will follow the concert. Also, MSU Food Truck and Dairy Store ice cream will be on site for all to enjoy. http://music.msu.edu/event-listing/history-of-american-indian-agriculture
