Fresh and Local Fall Farmers Market
The market features Michigan strawberries, beans, tomatoes, peaches, and blueberries in June and apples, winter squash, and pumpkins in the fall. Fresh bouquets of flowers are available throughout the season. A majority of the products sold at the market are grown locally or within the state.
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients can now use their Michigan Bridge Card at the Meridian Township Farmers’ Market. The market also accepts Double Up Food Bucks, WIC Project FRESH and Senior Project FRESH/Market FRESH coupons. Many vendors are also now accepting credit cards.
The Summer Farmers' Market is hosted in the Central Park Pavilion at 5151 Marsh Road, Okemos.
The Meridian Township Farmers Market offers four (4) market seasons:
Spring Market: Saturdays, 8 am to 2 pm; May and June; Central Park Pavilion
Summer/Fall Market: Wednesdays and Saturdays, 8 am to 2 pm; July through October; Central Park Pavilion
Thanksgiving Market: Wednesday before Thanksgiving; 10 am to 2 pm; Central Park Pavilion
Winter Market: first and third Saturdays; December - April; 10 am to 2 pm; in the Meridian Mall
