Celebrate America’s birthday in Mason Michigan! The Mason Independence Day Parade is one of the area’s premier evening parade. The parade steps off from Mason High School and travels through the historic downtown. The parade features local businesses, groups, and organizations and is always a crowd pleaser.

Fireworks will follow the parade and are organized and provided by the Mason Firefighters Association. Please see their page for more information on the fireworks display.
Information for Parade Participants:
The parade steps off from Mason High School at 7:30pm. Staging will begin at 6:00pm in the south lot of MHS. It is an open parade and preregistration is not required. If you preregister you will still need to check in at the MACC booth at the staging area (Mason High School south lot) to receive your parade number. All parade registration cards will need to be turned in to the MACC booth by 7:00pm to be announced in the parade.
BY POLICE ORDER: No throwing of candy or other items from parade units is permitted. Walkers only may walk to sidelines and hand candy, etc. to spectators. NO GETTING ON OR OFF UNITS during the parade. The city and chamber are not liable for any police citations or injuries resulting from violation of this directive.
