The Friends of Historic Meridian will host a Day Camp just for adults on Saturday, April 29, at the Meridian Historical Village. The camp will provide multiple opportunities to experience what life was like 100 years ago. Registration deadline is April 22nd.
A tour of the Village buildings and a pioneer lunch will be included, participants will leave with a “goodie bag” from the Friends of Historic Meridian. The cost is $30 per adult.
Participants can learn about life on the homestead or as an apprentice. The apprentice skills include printing, stenciling, weaving, spinning or tin punching. Life on the homestead will include activities such as food preparation, rug hooking, washing laundry, making cornmeal, or quilting.
