Maybe you've heard about Michigan State's basketball teams this year?
Tom Izzo's squad is a national title favorite and the Spartans are led by Miles Bridges, the consensus player of year in the Big Ten and the country.

You’ve been holed up in a business conference all day and now it’s time to see why your event planners picked Lansing.
Whether you’d rather hit the links for the last few hours of sunlight or hit the bar for distinctive craft beer and spirits, Michigan's Capital region can help you relax. The middle of the Mitten has so much to experience you’ll wish your conference would last another day.

I'm a sucker for big, brawny stouts. And coffee. And chocolate. Give me one of the three, I'm a happy camper. Get me two in a brew, I'll salute you. Combine all three, I'll worship the ground on which the brewers walk.
That's what makes it easy to make the rounds around Lansing, where creative craft beer, soon-to-be legendary liquors and winsome wines are making their mark as part of the Makers & Shakers beer, wine and spirits trail.
The thirsty tour around Greater Lansing has grown to 17 stops in just a matter of a few years. The taps, outside of a few mainstays at each brewery, are liable to rotate seasonally, just as the distillers are dedicating time to try new cocktail recipes.

Fall reigns as the supreme season for many (myself included) and, really, it’s not surprising why. Fall is just so darn…cozy! Cozy boots, cozy scarfs, cozy sweaters–fall is just all about the cozy. You know what I mean? Then you add in all the wonderful seasonal scents and flavors and you just end up with this perfect storm of pumpkin spice and plaid. *Sighs*
Obviously, it’s easy to persuade me into the fall spirit. If you on the other hand still need a little convincing, here’s one suggestion. Make your way to Greater Lansing’s Makers & Shakers Trail to try one of these five brews. They are deliciously warming and sure to get you in the mood for fall.
Be A Tourist In Your Own Town is the perfect family event. Kids love the hands-on crafts and museums, parents love that it’s affordable, yet some might wonder, what’s in it for me? If you think Be A Tourist is all about face-painting and balloon animal twisting, you’re missing out on a whole other side. Yes, Be A Tourist has many kid-friendly options, but it also has numerous events and attractions the “older younger” crowd–millennials–will enjoy.
B-E-E-R. It’s a four letter word that has changed countless lives. In recent years, beer-related words like hops, gravity, malt, ABV, craft brewery, brew pub, flocculation and mashes have become mainstream in our lexicon. In Greater Lansing we have multiple beer festivals and celebrations when a new firkin is tapped.
