Greater Lansing is known for many things: Michigan State University, the State Capitol building, historic cars and festivals–lots of festivals. Just about every weekend, especially during the summer months, you can find an event (or three or four) happening some time, some place and for every type of interest.

There’s something absolutely magical about Lansing’s Silver Bells in the City. It’s a whirlwind combination of a whole bunch of my favorite things, Nothing I like better than a festive parade, spectacular fireworks, the illumination of Michigan’s official Christmas tree and a ton of live music.
Be A Tourist In Your Own Town is coming up Saturday, June 4th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Purchase a ‘passport’ for one dollar and get to see over 80 Greater Lansing attractions.
