Summer is here folks and that has us eating outside, cooking outside and headed to the garden for food rather than the cupboard. Nothing can beat local veggies and fruit now that summer temps are here. Wondering where to find fresh, local or organic produce this season? Look no further than Greater Lansing's farmers markets. With 20 different markets spread across at least 14 different cities, there is sure to be a location near you. Enjoy a variety of produce carried by the local vendors that may include organic produce, seasonal flowers and homemade goods - just to name a few. Each farmers market has its own unique vendors, so be sure to check out more than one. If you still can't get enough farm-fresh foods check out our Foodie page for local farm-to-table restaurants and food trucks. Look at all there are to choose from! Heck it's early in the summer, try to hit them all!
