Hey everybody! Everyone's favorite "get-to-know Greater Lansing" event is back for an awesome 20th year! Yup, Be A Tourist In Your Own Town, set for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 31st, is back and better than ever. After twenty years of momentum this event focused on loving all things local is really rolling - over 70 attractions to explore this year for just the cost of your $1 passport. Long-time favorite participants like Potter Park Zoo, Michigan Historical Museum, the State Capitol and Impression 5 Science Center along with brand new stops like Zap Zone of Lansing and La Fille Gallery downtown! Our robust website for the event has all the information you could possibly need, but I'm here to tell you that Passports are going on sale this Thursday, May 1st at numerous locations across town. We have so many selling locations, in fact, that I'm certain that at least one of them is convenient to either your home or work. Stop into one of these selling locations and get passports for you and yours ASAP! The big event is coming up and you want to be ready! I always recommend people buy their passports ahead of time so they can plan their day! Summer is on the way and its time to celebrate Greater Lansing and 20 years of Be A Tourist! See you May 31st!!
