Some Be A Tourist attractions are not accessible via CATA Routes - So explore them in the family car!

With the 21st annual Be A Tourist In Your Own Town right around the corner (this Saturday May 30th) its good to know as much as you can about the event. Obviously you buy your $1 Greater Lansing passport and it grants you access to over 90 area attractions and hot spots. Not to be forgotten is the transportation aspect of the event, where our partner CATA takes participants all over town for just 50 cents. This is a great part of the event for sure, but its also not 100% true. No we're not lying to you. No, you're not getting punked - there is a simple explanation. The event has gotten so huge, in incredibly awesome, that some of the attractions on the out-skirts of the Greater Lansing area are not on CATA routes - just due to logistics. So, in order to let the event continue to grow, we had to say, ok, some of the attractions are OFF the CATA route, and you'll need your own transportation to get there. This does not make them out in the boonies or hard to get to by any means, you just cant get there on a bus. Look at the list below to see all of the amazing places you can visit during Be A Tourist - all accessible in the comfort of your own vehicle!
