What’s cold, white and celebrated all over? Winter break! Well, at least in Michigan. Sure, it might not be as lengthy as summer break and you
can’t shouldn’t wear flip-flops, but it’s time off from school and that’s exciting enough. If you have one or more kids home from school, keep them entertained with one of these fun and affordable things to do.
With the cool air arriving, now is the time to plan a trip to take in some great fall festivals in Greater Lansing. We can’t think of a better feeling than putting on your favorite boots, pulling out that cozy sweater and heading out to enjoy all that fall has to offer.

Heads up to all you Pokémon Go folks. No seriously. Heads up from your screens. Lansing is teaming with Pokémon, Pokéballs, gyms, Pokéstops and everything that every young Pokémon Go player needs or wants. We’re pretty sure you could spend a few hours [ahem!] a few days capturing, training, and building up your team. Whether you’re on the red, blue or yellow team, Greater Lansing has a big river, tons of parks, monuments and public spaces.
