Lori has been an enthusiastic cheerleader for the Lansing area for 15+ years. She still gets excited about all the fun things there are to see and do in her adopted hometown yet hasn't quite figured out how to fit everything she wants to do into a weekend. Favorite things include a fall afternoon tailgating and cheering the Spartans on to victory, a great classic car show like Car Capital in July, a stroll through one of the many beautiful horticulture gardens at MSU and a delicious dinner shared with family and friends at a local eatery. Her goal? Simple. It's to inspire people to love Lansing as much as she does! #LoveLansing

There’s something absolutely magical about Lansing’s Silver Bells in the City. It’s a whirlwind combination of a whole bunch of my favorite things, Nothing I like better than a festive parade, spectacular fireworks, the illumination of Michigan’s official Christmas tree and a ton of live music.

Stroll through the campus of Lansing Community College in downtown Lansing and you can't help but stop and admire over a dozen colorful sculptures strategically placed around every corner. Inspirational, evocative and whimsical, these works of art create a welcoming and even happy environment. Art, it's been said, can increase mental acuity, increase critical thinking and reduce stress levels. Surrounding students with art then, seems to be a very good idea.
