Featured artist, Barbara Hranilovich will demonstrate the technique of Encaustic Painting at Lansing Art Gallery on Thursday, September 9th from 12-2 PM.
Barbara Hranilovich's use of vibrant color makes her paintings pop, drawing in the viewer. As both a commercial illustrator and fine artist, Barbara creates works of art with both 2-D and 3-D media. Stepping outside the box and trying new concepts allows Barbara to create adventurous artwork. Barbara believes we are all more alike than different and strives to convey this in her art. Her works have won numerous awards locally and nationally and are published in books and magazines. Barbara recently received a 2010 Emerging Artist Grant from the Arts Council of Greater Lansing.
Featured ceramic and encaustic works by Barbara Hranilovich will be on display at Lansing Art Gallery September 3-30, 2010.
